Mountain in Nepal

The area of Nepal is 147,181 sq km. Mountain dominate the landscape of Nepal. These physical barriers have isolated the country and hindered development of its natural resources. Containing nine of the world's fourteen highest peaks. Nepal is a true Himalayan Kingdom. The Himalayas cover three fourths of the land in Nepal. The world's highest mountain peak Mount Everest, other high peak like Lhotse, Nuptse, Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu and the presence of some very beautiful trekking routes attract thousands of people from all over the world to this lovely Himalayan destination. More than 30 peaks of the Himalaya rise to heights of 7,620m (25,000 ft) or more, and one of these, Mount Everest 8,848m (29028 ft) is the world's highest mountain, which is in Nepal.
